Carillon Recital Lunchtime Series

DANBURY — The Wednesday Carillon Recital Series at St James’ Church Garden has begun for the summer 2001 season. The free concerts begin at 12:30 each week.

Guest carillonneurs perform on the historic Bulkley Carillon, which has been housed in the tower of St James’ Church since 1928 and judged to be the finest turned and tone-tempered set of bells ever made. It was the first set to be made in the United States.

On Wed., July 18, the featured performer will be Judson Maynard, Carillonneur Emeritus from Texas Technical Univ., Lubbock, Texas.
