Robert J. Richter, Jr, 73, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Maria Santiago Richter, died June 23 at Bridgeport Hospital.

 Survivors include two sons, Brett Richter of Newtown and Mario Richter of Dorchester, Mass.; a daughter, Eva Marie Frapani, also of Dorchester; two brothers, Richard Richter of Danbury and Daniel Richter of Stamford; two sisters, Ruthie Snodgrass of Danbury and Barbara Stamotelos of Stamford; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; also five stepdaughters; one stepson; and seven step-grandchildren.

Mr Richter was born in Stamford and retired from UPS after many years of service as a trucker. He was a member of Teamsters Local 191, Pequonnock Yacht, and served in the US Army.

Friends may call Saturday, June 28, from 2 to 6 pm, in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, with a prayer service to be conducted at 3 pm. Interment will be private.
