Warrant

After learning that police held a warrant for his arrest, Anthony Bonos, Jr, 47, of Danbury went to the police station on the morning of June 25 and was charged with evading responsibility and with failure to drive a reasonable distance apart.

Police said the arrest stems from a May 17 motor vehicle accident involving Bonos that occurred on South Main Street at its northern intersection with Peck’s Lane.

After processing, police released Bonos from custody on a written promise to appear July 28 in Danbury Superior Court.
