Husband & Wife Championship

Rock Ridge Country Club hosted its annual Husband & Wife Championship on Saturday. This tournament is the first trophy event at Rock Ridge. With a net score of 12 under par 58, Mike and Susan Portnoy took home the low net prize snd Mike and Lynda Nathenson won first place in the gross with a 77.

 The second net finishers were John and Jayne DuBraski, who posted a score of 11 under par 59. In a third place tie, Bob and Debby Tendler, Jack and Janet Duffy, Mike and Suzanne Spicci, and Cary and Lucy Kortze all came in with 10 under par scores of 60.

A stroke play competition and closest to the pin competition were also held during the Husband & Wife Championship. This contest was held on the par 3 ninth hole at The Rock. Making it a clean sweep in prizes, Mike and Susan Portnoy were the first closest team with an impressive shot of two-feet, six-inches.

Coming in second were Pat and Pam McLaughli, and the third closest team was comprised of Mike and Suzanne Spicci.

Men’s League Update

Men’s Thursday Night Quota League Winners

First Net: Peter Wallace

Second Net: Tony DiPerrio

Third Net: Bob Wilhelmy

With an impressive performance of seven positive points in Thursday night quota league, Wallace took home first net prize this week.

He made four birdies in nine holes. Tony DiPerrio came in second with a score of +5.

Friday Night Couples Results

First Net: Frank and Laurie Gavel

Second Net: Jeff and Kathy Fetchick

The Gavels shot a 5 under par score of 30 to claim first place honors in this week’s Friday night Couples Golf. Jeff and Kathy Fetchick posted a score of 2 under par 33.
