Final Registration For UConn Summer Classes
Final Registration For UConn Summer Classes
There is still time to register for the final three-week and five-week Summer Sessions classes offered at the University of Connecticut. The five-week session runs from July 14 to August 15; the intensive three-week session runs from July 21 to August 8. Five-week Summer Sessions classes are offered at all six UConn campuses: Avery Point, Hartford, Stamford, Storrs, Torrington, and Waterbury. Three-week sessions are offered at several campuses.
Classes are held in the morning, afternoon, or evening, and are open to returning adult students, as well as students from other colleges and universities. Students do not have to be matriculated at UConn to enroll in Summer Sessions courses. UConnâs nondegree study program allows students to earn academic credits without being formally admitted to a UConn degree program. Students from other colleges and universities can also enroll in these courses and transfer the credits to their own institution.
Summer Sessions classes make it easy for students to balance their education with a job, vacation, or just soaking up the sun. Students can choose from undergraduate credit courses in more than 100 different subjects, with more than 800 sections statewide, including evening courses at several campuses, and online courses offered during the six-week summer sessions.
