Nellie Patlonic

Nellie Patlonic, 107, wife of the late George Patlonic, formerly of Peace St, Danbury, died at the Harbourside/Glen Hill Nursing Home in Danbury on June 25.

Mrs Patlonic is survived by a granddaughter, Barbara Waterbury and her husband Richard, of Danbury; three great-grandchildren, Patricia Moran of Newtown, Stacey Waterbury Wyatt of Danbury, and Scott Waterbury of Danbury; four great-great grandchildren, Jane Elizabeth Moran, Ellen Emily Moran, Alexandra Lee Wyatt, and Cody Richard Waterbury; and a niece, Mary Biddle of Tuckahoe, N.Y. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs Patlonic was predeceased by two daughters, Susan Czajka and Ann York.

She was born in Velka Polana, Austria-Hungary, September 7, 1895, daughter of the late Mr and Mrs William Curr. She came to the United States as a young woman and remained a Danbury resident throughout her life. She was a member of St Nicholas Church and the St Nicholas Altar Society.

The Diving Liturgy will be celebrated at St Nicholas Church, 13 Pembroke Road, Danbury, on Saturday, June 28, at 10 am. Burial will take place in St Peter Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours. Contributions may be made to St Nicholas Church, Danbury.

Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, is in charge of arrangements.
