The Warriors posted their fifth winning record in the last six years and reached the championship of the Little East Conference and ECAC New England Division III tournaments for the second consecutive season.
After losing their opning three matches to top regional opponents (Trinity, Middlebury and Stevens Tech), ECSU rolled up eighth straight wins before dropping the LEC title match against Plymouth State. ESCU also lost to Plymouth State in the Division III tournament.
Carley used a strong second half to finish second on the team in scoring. Both Carley and Mo Deegan of Westport recorded their 100th career goals in the conference semi-finals against Western Connecticut State University. Carley finished 2003 with 25 goals and 13 assists and finished her career with 105 goals and 30 assists.
Carley was second on the team this year in goals from a free position (5), first on the team in ground balls (70), first on the team in causing turnovers (26) and first on the team in draw controls (55). She played in 63 games in her career, starting in all but two.
