Kids Care!

The Kids Care Club at Hawley School had the opportunity to meet with a real-life soldier June 16 when Justin Dahlmeyer, an officer aboard the USS Harry Truman during Operation Enduring Freedom, visited to thank the students for writing him and his fellow troops during the recent war in Iraq.

Officer Dahlmeyer graciously answered many questions pertaining to his military career and life at sea.
