Freethinker Group

WOODBURY – A freethinker support group will meet on Sunday, July 6 and 13, at 3 pm, at the Mattatuck Unitarian-Universalist Society, 122 South Pomperaug Avenue.

Dr Robert Wolsch, senior minister, Humanist Society of Friends, will lead the first two sessions.

The discussion will focus on alternatives to today’s complex societies: science vs pseudoscience; reasoned action vs prayer; Deism vs theism; naturalism vs supernaturalism. Those attending will be welcome to share their interest in pursuing new ideas and critically examining old ones.
