Elizabeth A. Braddock

Elizabeth A. Braddock, 74, of Bethel, died June 18 at Danbury Hospital. She was the wife of Robert G. Braddock.

Mrs Braddock was born November 11, 1928, in New Rochelle, N.Y., daughter of the late Charles U. and Josephine (Mitchell) Combes.

In addition to her husband of 46 years, Mrs Braddock is survived by three sons, Robert Charles Braddock of Newtown, Stephen James Braddock of Danbury, and Thomas Kyle Braddock of Lincoln Park, N.J.; two daughters, Susan Marie Brouillette of Danbury, and Elizabeth Grace McQueen of Bridgewater; one sister, Jean Gilmore of Hilton Head, S.C.; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Raised and educated in the New Rochelle area, she moved to Norwalk with her husband and family in 1965, and had been a Bethel resident since 1975.

Employed in the insurance industry for several years, Mrs Braddock was most recently employed by the Taylor-Lawlor Agency, formerly of Danbury, as an insurance underwriter until her retirement.

She was a parishioner of St Mary Church, Bethel, and along with her husband, Robert, bowled in the Senior League at the Brookfield Lanes.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated June 21 at St Mary Church, Bethel. Burial was in St Mary Cemetery, Bethel.
