Tee It Up For The GHO will give an amateur golfer a chance to play with PGA Tour pro Mark Calcavecchia in the Travelers Celebrity Pro-am on July 23. The tournament will also help to provide much needed support for Jaycees community programs and Connecticut Section PGA Golf Foundation programs to bring golf to kids who would not otherwise have the chance to play and learn.

The GHO is scheduled for July 21-27.

Amateurs who participate in their course’s Tee It Up For The GHO tournament will receive for their $20 entry fee:

1. Entry into a drawing for playing spot in one of the following three GHO Pro-Ams – Play with Mark Calcavecchia in the 2003 GHO Travelers Celebrity Pro-Am, one spot in the 2003 GHO Aetna TP Pro-Am or one spot in the 2003 GHO Phoenix Classic Pro-Am.

2. Low net and low gross winner at each participating club receives four tickets to the GHO.

3. One junior ticket for the GHO.

 All proceeds will benefit community programs of the Greater Hartford Jaycees and the Connecticut Section PGA Assistant Association. The Connecticut Section PGA is helping the GHO coordinate the program at participating golf facilities.
