Booth Library To Present A Video Special Effects Show
Young people are invited to join in an âout-of-this-worldâ experience with other young adults on Tuesday, July 1, at 4 pm, in C.H. Booth Libraryâs first floor meeting room.
Using the latest in digital video technology, participants will get a chance to be in their own special effects video adventures, such as flying a magic carpet over the United States, swimming in the ocean, or walking on the moon. There are over ten adventures to choose from in the program, which demonstrates some of the fun and interesting uses of state-of-the-art digital technology. No special preparation or skills are needed.
Mark Koncewicz, the owner of UnReal Productions, has been working with computers and video technology for over 15 years. His company specializes in developing three-dimensional applications on the World Wide Web.
Admission is free, but those planning to attend are asked to sign up in advance at the main Circulation Desk. Participants must be at least age 10 or entering fifth grade in the fall.
Booth Library, at 25 Main Street in Newtown, can be contacted for additional information at 426-4533.
