All town offices will be closed on Friday, July 4, in honor of Independence Day.

The C.H. Booth Library and the Senior Center also will be closed.

The transfer station at the former landfill on Ethan Allen Road will be closed. Recycling on the DWD routes will not be picked up on Friday; pickup will be delayed by one day. However, Pendergast routes may be picked up on July 4. Residents who have Friday pickup, and are unsure of which route they are on, are advised to put their recycling out as usual early Friday.

The offices of The Bee will be closed.
