Learn About Wild Plants

ROXBURY — Author and ethnobotanist Barrie Kavasch will lead a hike through the Beardsley Preserve at 10 am on Saturday, June 30, to discuss identification of wild plants and their uses by Native Americans.

Ms Kavasch is a local authority on plants, fungi, healing, spirituality, and Native American cuisine. The walk will take approximately two hours. Meet at the Route 199 entrance of the Beardsley Preserve in Roxbury. Registration is required. Call 860-350-4148 to register or for more information.
