An Ambitious And Successful Project
An Ambitious And
Successful Project
To the Editor:
During the past three weeks, the Knights of Columbus, with the help of many organizations and over 60 volunteers, completed an ambitious house project for a single mother of three.
On behalf of the Virgilius Council, #185, I would like to thank the following organizations and people for their special contributions to the success of this project: Fred Pendergast, Wickes Lumber, The Salvation Army, St Rose Social Concerns Committee, DâAmico Painting, St Rose Womenâs Club, Goulart Construction, St Rose Youth Group, Herb Rosenthal, Donnelly Plumbing and Heating, Ken Burns Electrical Contracting, Rand Whitney, Newtown Color, Curtis Box Company, Newtown Police Department, and Father Bob Weiss.
Words cannot express how grateful we are for the generous contributions of our sponsors and the work performed by the all the volunteers. Seeing so many work together in harmony to assist someone in need is simply wonderful; an event surely blessed by God. We hope that all our volunteers will return in the future when we begin our next project to help someone in Newtown that is... at our Gate.
Sincerely,
Mark Dennen
