St Rose Track And Field Highlights

The St Rose junior varsity track team (grades K-4) won its division of the parochial league spring track and field championships held at Immaculate High School, recently.

St Rose scored 238 points, followed by St Mary School of Bethel (196), St Gregory of Danbury (195), St Mary of Ridgefield (150), St Joseph Brookfield (100), St Joseph of Danbury (74) and Immanuel Lutheran. St Gregory won the overall championship.

Points were scored by Jack Moulder, Brendan Skewis, Aiden Moulder, Connor McNerney, Matt Gerbo, Stephen Sedensky, Patrick Grover, Cory Furrier, Mark Kendziorski, Adelaide Meier, Caroline Keane, Audrey Sednesky, Grace Keane, Paige Simms, Kristen Cirone, Anna Brubaker, Loni Ludanyi, Juliet Grover and Hailey Pindell.

Varsity team points were scored by Matt Pindell, Alex Gerbo, Seth Morris, Billy Begg, Kathryn Kerins, Maren Brady, Brianne Moulder, Stephanie Haas, Haley Ryan, Marina Renzi and Molly Begg.

The following competitors won league titles in their events:Paige Simms 50 meters (8:84), Matt Gerbo 200 (32:81), Audrey Sedensky 200 (34:97), Caroline Keane 400 (1:23.30) and 800 (3:16.50) and Molly Begg 1600 (6:12.8).
