Hal G. Anderson

US Army Veteran

Hal G. Anderson, 66, of Brookfield, died June 19 at Danbury Hospital. Born in Newtown, March 28, 1943, he was the son of Harry G. and Barbara (McArdle) Anderson.

Mr Anderson was a self-employed realtor, having retired after many years with the Anderson Family Realty of Newtown. He was a graduate of Newtown High School and graduated from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor of science degree. Mr. Anderson was also a US Army Veteran during the Vietnam era.

Survivors include two sisters, Faith and Barbara Anderson of Brookfield.

Funeral services were held June 25 from the Honan Funeral, Newtown, and in St Joseph’s Church in Brookfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment followed in St Rose Cemetery, in the Sandy Hook Section of Newtown.
