Tracy Millander and John Benson of Newtown announce the birth of a daughter, Madison Alexandra Benson, on April 20 at 4:11 pm at Stamford Hospital.

She weighed seven pounds, nine ounces, and was 19½ inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Cina Millander of Frederick, Md., and Murray Millander, of San Diego, Calif.

Paternal grandmother is Linda Benson of East Haddam.

Reagan and Kyle Fitzgibbons of Portland announce the birth of their first child, a daughter, Tara Rylee Fitzgibbons, on April 22.

The baby weighed eight pounds, nine ounces, and was 20 ½ inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Anita Harris of Newtown and Bob Harris of Sandy Hook.

Paternal grandparents are Carl and Marjorie Fitzgibbons of Portland.
