Morey Named Manager Of William Pitt

Paul Breunich and Casey Jones, co-principals of William Pitt Real Estate, have announced the appointment of Robert Morey of Brookfield as manager of the company’s Newtown office.

Mr Morey is a lifelong area resident and brings more than two decades of Connecticut real estate and management experience to the position. He has been an agency owner, a residential sales person, a commercial sales person, and was, for the past four years, manager of the Danbury and Bethel offices of another real estate company.

He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Connecticut Association of Realtors, the Northern Fairfield County Association of Realtors, the Ridgefield Board of Realtors, the Newtown Board of Realtors, the Greater Waterbury Multiple Listing Service, and the Consolidated Multiple Listing Service. He has been active in leadership roles at both the state and local levels, serving as a division vice president on the state executive committee and as board president, as well as on multiple committees. He was also recognized as Realtor Of The Year in 1998.

“We’re getting ready to break ground on a large addition to our Newtown office, which will nearly double its size,” said Mr Morey.

Mr Morey currently resides in Brookfield with his wife, Dianne. He is also past-president of The Rotary Club of Brookfield. He is a Notary Public and a Justice of the Peace.
