Flowers Bloom At Fraser-Woods
One of Fraser-Woods Montessori Schoolâs ongoing projects has been the creation and maintenance of perennial flowerbeds outside the school building. The Fraser-Woodsâ Parent Association, under the guidance of Head of School Myriam Woods, coordinated the project.
This year, the lower class of toddlers helped plant fresh perennials on June 3. Each child, age 3 to 6, wore proper gardening attire, including gloves and a sun hat. The day was sunny and several children reported seeing butterflies, raised from their cocoons as part of a special class project, fluttering cheerfully around the garden.
