Aviation Science At NVCC

WATERBURY — Naugatuck Valley Community College’s (NVCC) Aviation Science Program will host an open house on July 7 at North American Aviation at Danbury Airport on 49 Miry Brook Road, from 10 am to 1 pm. Program director and faculty will be on hand to give details about the degree program.

The Aviation Science Degree Program at NVCC provides the student an opportunity to pursue a career in aviation. The flight theory, flight simulator, and flight training portions of the program prepare students to meet the minimum requirements for FAA certification and obtain the private, commercial, and flight instructor certificates with an instrument rating.
