Steven Paul Earl, born May 2, 1951, died on June 11, 2019, way too young.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of a truly great husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and man: Steven Paul Earl, who passed from this life on June 11, 2019, at 4:45 am. He was surrounded by his wife and children, who are truly heartbroken! Julie L. Earl, Melissa Dunbar, Steven R. Earl, Jamilynn Zapata, and Micheale Rose Brewer. Steve is also survived by his grandchildren, Alex Loya, Jodie Drew, Andrew Loya, Carly Loya, Andrew Dunbar, Sean Dunbar, Annyka Rowen Zapata, Elizabeth Catherine Earl, and last but certainly not least, Ethyn John Bissell. Great-grandchildren are Nora and Madeline Drew. He is also survived by his sisters, Linda Gulluscio and Patricia Brown.

Steve was born in Westerly Rhode Island to his loving mother, Agnes Catherine Earl, who passed when Steve was just 16 years old. She will certainly be waiting to welcome him home.

Steve, in addition to being a brilliant computer programmer, was a Bridgeport firefighter for 25 years. He raised four beautiful children with love and an amazing sense of humor. How else can you get through three daughters and a son?

We plan on having a Celebration of Life in honor of Steve on July 13, 2019, from noon to 5 pm, at The Hawleyville Fire Department, 34 Hawleyville Road, Newtown. Please join us if you can. We would love to hear everyone’s personal memories and stories about Steve.
