Jim Talarino of Newtown was honored on June 18, during the Flagpole Photographers Camera Club’s final meeting of the 2014-15 season.

Mr Talarino has been an integral part of the club for over 25 years serving in many capacities including president, vice president, judging coordinator, and hospitality chairman. Current Club President Mark Ashbolt presented Mr Talarino with a framed certificate in recognition of his outstanding service to the club and awarded him an Emeritus Lifetime Membership.

Founded in 1985, the Flagpole Photographers Camera Club celebrated its 30th anniversary this year. The club’s mission is to enable members to share their images and expertise, to learn and grow in their photography, and to enjoy the camaraderie of fellow photographers.

Club members come from diverse backgrounds, with photographic skills ranging from beginning novices to professional photographers.
