Clarence A. Peck, 84, of Stratford, beloved husband of Zennie Weaver Peck, died June 16, in Griffin Hospital, Derby. Mr Peck, the former proprietor of Peck Plumbing, was born in Middletown, Penn., to Emma (Nornhold) Peck and Clarence H. Peck, and had been a longtime area resident.

Survivors in addition to his beloved wife of 65 years include his four devoted children, including Nancy Kuhn, and her husband Richard, of Newtown; five cherished grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and a niece. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Ellen; a son, Thomas; two grandsons; and a brother, Robert.

Mr Peck witnessed the raising of the flag at Iwo Jima while a member of the 4th Division of the US Marine Corp, during World War II. He was also a member of the NRA.

Funeral services took place June 22. Interment with full military honors was in Mountain Grove of Easton Cemetery.
