Human Service Training Sessions

WATERBURY — The Marrakech, Inc., Academy for Human Service Training, is offering a free 12-week training program that prepares individuals to work with people with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities.

This unique training program, which includes both classroom and internship-based training, prepares individuals for full-time work in the human services field. The organization targets area residents that are unemployed, underemployed, and in need of job training.

Interested candidates must attend an information session held every Wednesday at 3 pm at 47 Woodtick Road. Out of school youth, ages 18 to 21, are strongly encouraged to apply.
