Free Hearing Tests Slated
SOUTHBURY â The Federation-Jewish Communities of Western Connecticut will sponsor a free hearing clinic on Wednesday, July 6, from 9 to 11:30 am.
Howard Raff, a board certified hearing instrument specialist with And-How Hearing in Waterbury, will conduct the tests. The clinic will take place at the Walzer Family Jewish Community Campus, 444 Main Street North.
The purpose of this 15-minute screening is to measure oneâs hearing level, comparing it to normal hearing levels. It is a pass/fail test, and is often the first alert that oneâs hearing may not be what it once was.
To make an appointment, call Debby Horowitz, Brownstein Jewish Family Service program director, at 267-3177, extension 105.
