Another Big Step For Beaux Arts Gallery/Miller Frame Studio

WOODBURY — Peter and Shelley Miller, the owners of Beaux Arts Gallery/Miller Frame Studio, announce the upcoming relocation of their business. On Monday, July 8, the Millers will open the new gallery doors at 495 Main Street South in Woodbury. The new location is on Route 6, between St Pierre Oil Company and Eleish Van Breems Antiques.

The gallery and frame studio have been located in Barclay Square, Woodbury, since 1997, and prior to that in Southbury since 1983.

Construction for the gallery and framing business is being completed on the new 2,900-square-foot facility in the rear of the property. Deacon Bull originally built the historic home on Main Street in 1745, the building was most recently restored by John B. Maurer, A.S.I.D.

“We are very excited to be a part of Main Street and to be the custodians of this wonderful property. We are looking forward to having the gallery, framing and gilding studio all at the same location,” states Mr Miller.

While the Beaux Arts Gallery/Miller Frame Studio offers full service framing, Mr Miller’s specialties include unique French matting, designing and creating hand made gilded frames and the restoration of antique frames and objects. The gallery will continue as an important source for representational art created by some of region’s most reputable artists such as Thomas Adkins, Ella Crampton Knox, and Anda Styler.

The Beaux Arts Gallery/Miller Frame Studio will close for business at the Barclay Square location on July 1, and then reopen on July 8, at 495 Main Street South. Call for further information and directions at 203-263-3939.

Normal business hours will continue to be Monday through Saturday from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm and Sundays by appointment. The Millers also anticipate having regular Sunday hours in the near future.
