Sprucing Up The Ambulance Garage

To the Editor:

Members of the Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Association are looking for donations from the wonderful people of Newtown. We are planning our spruce up the ambulance garage and are hoping you can help us out once again.

We are planning this event for Saturday, June 24, rain date July 1. You can drop off any item you can donate at the ambulance garage located at Mt Pleasant Road facility right of the flag pole from The Newtown Bee, or call 270-7298 for pickup.

We would like to plant some nice flowers; annuals, perennials, and mulch to put around the plants, whatever you can donate to us would be most appreciated. We are also in need of a freshly painted sign, if you know anyone that can help donate materials or money toward this that would be wonderful. We are a volunteer organization looking for your help.

If we are on a call, you may leave any item you can donate in the back of the building with your card or name, so we may thank you for your kindness.
