New Brochure Maps Fun In Litchfield Hills

LITCHFIELD — Where to go, what to do, where to stay and where to shop. All the information needed for a great stay in Connecticut’s beautiful Litchfield Hills is now available in a quick and easy format in a new, free foldout Litchfield Hills lodging and attractions directory and map, published by Northwest Connecticut Convention and Visitors Bureau.

All 48 towns in this diverse area are listed in alphabetical order, from Ansonia to Woodbury. Lodging, dining, attractions and shopping information is listed for each, enabling the directory’s users to compare and select destinations.

Theaters, boutiques, galleries, antique stores, museums, historic homes, wineries, gardens, parkland and outdoor outfitters are among the many sites to be found within the various towns. Addresses, telephone numbers and websites for each listing provide easy contact.

Drivers will find a four-color official state map, with the most scenic routes clearly marked. The Litchfield Hills regions is highlighted, running from Canaan, Salisbury and Colebrook in the north down through the Housatonic and Naugatuck River Valleys to Ridgefield and Derby in the south.

The new directory is a handy addition to the 112-page illustrated Unwind guide, also published by Northwest Connecticut Convention and Visitors Bureau. Unwind, a more detailed publication, divides the area’s attractions into 24 categories, with a descriptive paragraph offered for each listing.

To request the new directory and map and a free copy of Unwind, contact Norwest Connecticut Convention and Visitors Bureau, PO Box 968, Litchfield CT 06759, 800-663-1273, or visit LitchfieldHills.com.
