Successful Lobsterfest

To the Editor:

On behalf of the members of the Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue Co., we would like to thank the many people who helped us at this year’s Lobsterfest.

First and foremost, to our members, Ladies Auxiliary, and many volunteers who come back year after year and work the weekend for us. Secondly, to J.P. Maguire Associates for their donation of the corn and to Mike Kerler from Sandy Hook Wine & Liquor for donating the wine.

We would also like to thank the committee for the Relay For Life for letting us be a part of their worthy event.

We would also like to acknowledge the entertainment of John Voket, Keltic Kick, and The Rockin’ Heartbeats for keeping our patrons dancing all night.

And of course to our neighbors on Riverside Road for dealing with the traffic and noise for the weekend.

Finally to all who attended, we would like to thank you for coming year after year to support us. We hope that you enjoyed yourself and that we see all of you again next year!
