BRIDGEWATER â Housatonic Valley Region Antique Automobile Club of America will host its 31st Annual Antique and Classic Auto Show and Flea Market at Bridgewater Fairgrounds on Sunday, June 25, from 9 am to 3 pm, rain or shine.
A field of more than 400 cars is expected to fill 28 categories that will be judged for first, second, and third prizes. Additional prizes will be give for Best of Show, Presidentâs Choice, and Oldest Car.
Many local automobile dealers will also display new cars.
Specific classes will cover antique cars through 1979, with an additional special interest class that will include other noteworthy and collectible cars. There will be five classes of hot rod and custom cars. In addition, a âCar Corralâ will offer antique and collectible cars for sale. Space is available for $10 to sell a car on-site.
Antique auto registration is $8, with free dash plaques going to the first 250 cars. Vehicle judging will start at noon and awards will be presented before 3 pm. Flea market space is available at $25.
Spectatorsâ donation is $4 for adults, $1 for ages 7-12, and free for ages 6 and under. All proceeds will benefit local charities.
