Annual Meeting, Monday

The Family Counseling Center, Inc will hold its annual meeting on Monday, June 26, at 8 pm, in the community room at C.H. Booth Library.

The annual meeting will include election of officers for the board of directors. The proposed slate of officers includes the following: Chair, Laura Miller Kurtz; Vice Chair, Joe Humeston; Treasurer, Dave Rowley; Assistant Treasurer, Ron Pekrul; Secretary, Stella Dance; Assistant Secretary, Tim Cunningham; Directors: Matt Havasta, Barbara Pisacreta, and Bob Smith.

The 2006-07 budget will be presented as well.

The public is invited.

A copy of the center’s annual audit and 990 is available for review at Family Counseling Center’s office at 121 Mt Pleasant Road, Monday through Friday between 9 am and 4 pm.

Family Counseling Center is a state licensed, accredited mental health psychiatric clinic for adults and children, providing individual, couple, family and child counseling, psychiatric assessments and follow-up, play-therapy, support groups, and parent education courses for parents who going through divorce and separation. The center serves people who live and work in the greater Newtown area. Its mission is to help people reach their highest potential regardless of their ability to pay.
