Wendy Borst, Class of 2005 at NHS, has been named to the Dean’s List for the School of Communications and Theater and to the Honors Director’s List for her performance in the Honors Program for the spring semester at Temple University, Philadelphia.

Thomas Willard Ermini graduated from Southern Connecticut State University on May 26, in the top ten percent of his class. A 2002 graduate of Newtown High School, he received a bachelor of science degree in exercise science. He is the son of Mr and Mrs William Shier of Newtown and Thomas R Ermini of Milford.

Lindsey C. Coyle, NHS Class of 2005 has been named to the Dean’s List at Quinnipiac University School of Health Sciences for the spring semester. She is a nursing major.

Paula Mukwaya will participate in an internship this summer as assistant to the director of planning and development for the city of Northampton, Mass. She is an economics major at Smith College.

Jessica Horvath of Sandy Hook has been named to the Dean’s List at Syracuse University College of Arts and Sciences for the spring semester. Jessica is majoring in communication sciences and disorders.

Elizabeth Arnold of Newtown has been named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at Bryant University, Smithfield, R.I.

Garrett O. Swink, NHS Class of 2002, received a bachelor’s degree in English from St Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y.

Francesca J. Piscitelli has been named to the Dean’s List for the winter semester at Northern Michigan University, Communications and Marketing Department, Marquette.

Scott Shpunt, a 2005 graduate of Newtown High School, was named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at Northeastern University, College of Engineering, in Boston.

Taylor Jacob Schmidt received a bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kan.

Ashley LaRocque, NHS Class of 2005, has been named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester at University of North Carolina in Wilmington, N.C.
