Albert J. Cultrera

Albert J. “Lee” Cultrera, 91, husband of Stella (Przybylowicz) Cultrera of Newtown, died June 15 in Danbury Hospital. Mr Cultrera was born in Pittsfield, Mass., on April 13, 1915, a son of Anthony and Lucia Cultrera. He served in the US Navy during World War II.

Mr Cultrera was a longtime employee of Aetna Insurance Company. During his retirement years, he enjoyed laughing with and greeting customers at Town Line Auto Body Shop in Monroe. He also enjoyed being part of the Town Line Auto Body bowling team.

In addition to his wife of 66 years, Mr Cultrera is survived by a daughter, Anita Stern of California; one brother, and one sister.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Road, Newtown, on Friday, June 23, at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. There are no calling hours.

Arrangements were handled by Honan Funeral Home of Newtown.
