‘Front Door’ By The First Selectman

SHERMAN — Art von Placheki, an award-winning photographer and retired business executive who is currently serving as Sherman’s First Selectman, will be represented with an exhibition entitled “The Front Door: Security and Style” during July at The Sherman Library. With the photographs, all of which are color shots of front doors in Europe, Mr von Placheki explores the decorative image the owners of the doors wish to convey to the outside world while achieving their ultimate goal: security.
