Maria E. Palonis

Maria E. Palonis, 95, of Stratford, the widow of the late Edward J. Palonis, died June 16, in Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center. She was born in Marion, Conn., to Caroline (Scosta) and Joseph Ceccarelli

Survivors include two brothers, Alfred Ceccarelli, and his wife Jessie, of Newtown and James Ceccarelli, and his wife Elaine, of Shelton; a devoted daughter, Doreen Palonis of Stratford; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, John, Amerigo, and Edward Ceccarelli.

Ms Palonis was a longtime Stratford resident. She retired from Bridgeport Hospital as an endoscopy technician.

Funeral services took place June 19. Interment was in St John’s Cemetery, Monroe.
