Mahony Garners Community Service Award

Will Mahony, a senior at Union College, in Schenectady, NY, received the award for Community Service and Community Outreach this season.

Mahony, of Sandy Hook, was put on the Dean’s List, was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and a Liberty League All-Academic honoree. He was a match with a cancer patient as a part of the National Bone Marrow Registry. Mahony served a term abroad to the Republic of Palau, volunteering at elementary schools.

A member for the Student Ambassador Program at Union College, Mahony also mentored students. He recently graduated with high honors.
