Adelina Bossio

Adelina Bossio, 99, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Pasquale Bossio, died peacefully, June 17, in Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center. Born January 1, 1913, in Calabria, Italy, she was a daughter of Guiseppe and Serafina Boratanno Bossio.

Survivors include three children, a daughter, Fina DeLorenzo, and her husband John, of Newtown; two sons, Gino M. Bossio, and his wife Sharon, and Joseph Bossio, and his wife Alice, all of Stratford; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Bossio; and several nieces and nephews. A son, Carmine, and a brother, Jerry, predeceased her.

Mrs Bossio enjoyed gardening and knitting, but she truly enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services took place June 21. Entombment was in the Chapel Mausoleum of St Michael’s Cemetery, Stratford.
