Heilweil Vocal Arts Studio

To Present Students In Recital

Maggi Heilweil Vocal Arts Studio will be presenting a student recital on Sunday, June 24, at 4:30 pm, in The Alexandria Room of Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main Street.

“Recitals are important for several reasons.  They act as a benchmark that students – and their families – can use to track their progress from year to year; they give a focus to the work that we do, and they are fun!” says teacher Maggi Heilweil.

Participating students from Newtown include George Ferris, Erin Glaberson, Quinlan Mitchell, Megan Preiss and Jake Wolfe. Other students are from Bethel, Monroe and Westport will also be performing.

Students will sing from both the classic and music theater repertoire, as Ms Heilweil believes strongly that both styles help build a versatile and technically skilled singer.

The accompanist will be Andrew Gordon from Redding.
