Local Author Participates In First Responder Appreciation Morning

The public was invited to meet with [naviga:u]Newtown resident and author Lisa Yu[/naviga:u] to get copies of her new book “My Daddy Is A Firefighter” signed at Main Street Adventures, 123 South Main Street, on June 15.
The author meet-and-greet was part of the First Responder Appreciation Morning, where children of first responders received a discount for playtime at Main Street Adventures and Butcher’s Best hosted light refreshments and discounts for first responders.
