Route 34 Accident

Police report a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 34 and Zoar Road about 4:15 pm June 18.

Motorist Harry Walsh, 76, of 2 Russett Road, who was driving a 1991 Cadillac DeVille, was turning from Zoar Road onto Route 34, when he collided with motorist Janice Moscato, 28, of Shelton, who was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer on Route 34, police said.

There were no injuries. Police issued Walsh and infraction ticket for failure to grant the right of way.
