Chocolate Genius To Play The Aldrich

RIDGEFIELD — Panamanian-born Chocolate Genius (a/k/a Marc Anthony Thompson) is considered one of the most versatile and introspective singer-songwriters on the scene today. He has showcased his eclectic blend of funk, soulful blues, and gritty rock at the Brooklyn Academy of Music and Carnegie Hall, and has performed with such artists as David Bowie, Ben Folds, Bebel Gilberto, and Medeski, Martin and Wood, among others. The New York Times calls him “the most entertaining showman currently working the New York stage.”

The blues-pop-rock performer will headline the next Stage A performance at The Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art on Friday, June 27, at 8 pm. Tickets are $25 and can be reserved by calling 203-438-4519 or visiting www.AldrichArt.org. The museum is at 258 Main Street/Route 35.
