Article Appreciated

To the Editor:

I would like to thank Steve Bigham for the article in last weeks issue of The Newtown Bee regarding the Newtown Highway Department. I would also like to thank Mr Fred Hurley for the kind words he said regarding the loss of my daddy, William “Butch” Sears.

As you can imagine, losing my dad is an immeasurable loss to our family. We will all miss him, and I will not only miss him as my dad but, as a best friend. We all, friends and family, will miss his wonderful sense of humor which he tried to never let falter even during his struggle with his disease. It is comforting to know others saw these great attributes in my dad as well.

Thank you for the article and all the support and help everyone has given us during this sad time in our lives.  Please be assured it is much appreciated.
