VFW Family Picnic June 27

VFW Post 308 will host its annual Family Picnic — open to all residents — Saturday, June 27. The fun will begin at 11 am at the post, 18 Tinkerfield Road.

Requested donation is $15, with a $30 cap for families (children ages 12 and under), and admission includes food — burgers, hot dogs, turkey, liver and onions, bacon and eggs, raw clams, chowder, sausage and peppers, salads, corn on the cob, and more — and drinks, including beer and wine, until 5 pm.

There will be music, and a moon bounce for kids.

Proceeds will help the VFW continue helping veterans and their families with any needs they face. For additional information call 426-9316.
