‘Yes, You Can…’ Workshops Conclude June 24

The “Yes, You Can…” workshop series presented by the Center for Professional Development of the University of Hartford at the Newtown Savings Bank Community Room, 39 Main Street, concludes next week with its final workshop, “Handle a Job Interview with Confidence” on Wednesday, June 24.

Participants will learn about the traits of an effective interview, questions individuals may be asked in an interview and questions to be prepared to ask in an interview. Behavioral interviewing and how to handle behavioral questions will be discussed in detail. Strategies for conducting successful phone and web cam interviews will also be reviewed.

The workshop will be held from 5 to 7 pm, at Newtown Savings Bank, and will be led by career counselor Rebecca Danchak, MA, from the Center for Professional Development. The fee for this workshop is $30 and preregistration is required.
