SNAN Announces Raffle Winners
The Spay and Neuter Association of Newtown held a Spring Fling tag sale/flea market at the Newtown Middle School recently, raising approximately $600 to help in their mission to help area dogs and cats.
The raffle winners included Ambie Moore, a Kimâs Cuts certificate; William Grady, certicates for dining at Cerillos and Robertos restaurants, and wine; Andrea Oefinger and Kathy Strauss, SNAN certificates; Cathy OâConnor, dog food; Elissa Silber, a dog doorstop made by Clem Hallenbeck; Kathy Brawn, a gourmet basket; Bela Beaupre, fragrance basket; Marie Jayger, potpourri basket; Patty Fogestrom, shortbread cookies; Christine Donde, Beanie Babies.
SNAN has provided spay and neuter help for dogs and cats in Newtown and surrounding towns for almost 20 years. The group provides information and financial assistance, including required shots. It has an educational program on the value of spaying and neutering pets. New members are welcome. The organization meets the third Friday of each month at 10 am in the old courtroom in Edmond Town Hall, except for the summer months. For more information call 426-5730.
