Hillary Klittnick

Hillary (Lennon)  Klittnick of Monroe, a broker for Century 21 Gold Coast Realty, died suddenly on June 16.

She was the mother of Darren Klittnick of Newtown.

Born in Dublin, Ireland, she was a daughter of Frederick Lennon of Fairfield, and the late Evelyn (O’Brien) Lennon. After coming to the United States as a youth, Mrs Klittnick lived in Fairfield before moving to Monroe 30 years ago. She graduated from Springfield College with a BS degree.

In addition to her father, survivors include her beloved husband, David J. Klittnick; another son, Geoffrey Klittnick of Monroe; a daughter, Laura Lee Hornby of Texas; a sister, Loretta Grasso and her husband, Armand, of Southbury; five grandchildren, Eric, Brendan, Carly, Benjamin and Devin; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering was scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 21, from 5 to 8 pm, in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. All other services will be private.
