One-Day Art Show At La-Z-Boy Furniture

BROOKFIELD — Member artists of Kent Art Association will be displaying their work at the La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries in Brookfield on Sunday, June 27, from 11 am until 6 pm. Customers and guests will view works in oil, watercolor, ink and acrylic by the attending artists. 

Exhibiting their work will be Karen Cashman of Roxbury, Herb Herschlag of Danbury, and Zufar Bikbov of Waterbury.

Ms Cashman specializes in oils depicting country landscapes and scenes, Mr Herschlag utilizes a multitude of mediums including oils, inks and acrylics in a wide variety subjects from floral to impressionistic subjects, and Mr Bikbov also specializes in oils for both landscapes and cityscapes.

 “We are planning on making this and annual event and expanding the participating artists,” said Christie Davey, manager at La-Z-Boy in Brookfield. “The show provides exposure for the fine arts community and allows La-Z-Boy customers and prospects an alternative for adding accents to their homes.”
