The Secrets Of Pizza

Hawley Girl Scout Troop 138 recently learned the secrets of making great pizza from Heather Matte of My Place Restaurant. The scouts learned about the importance of proper sanitation, how to carefully stretch the dough without tearing it, how to spread just the right amount of sauce, and a special technique for sprinkling cheese just right.

After their lesson, they enjoyed their made-to-order pizza pies and celebrated their last meeting as Brownies. The girls bridged to Junior Scouts on June 10.
