Student Honored For Involvement

In Heifer International

Reed Intermediate School student Abigail Peck, age 11, was recently honored for her fundraising efforts for Heifer International by Kohl’s fourth annual Kids Who Care volunteer recognition program recognizing students ages 6 to 18.

Abigail was named a regional winner. She received a $50 Kohl’s gift card and a certificate of recognition.

She progresses to the national level, where she will be eligible to win one of ten scholarships worth $5,000 each.

In addition, Kohl’s will contribute $1,000 to a nonprofit organization on behalf of each national winner.

The national winners will be announced in July.
